Stillness
by Anya Sophia Mann
Stillness brings a depth to my life that greatly expands my life. I want this for you. For all of us. Because in the stillness sits a silence that deafens the chattering mind and whirling thoughts of busyness.
It is in this quiet solitude within, that peaceful wisdom and inspiration percolate, and permeate the environment. Myriads of environments are positively affected by this steady stillness.
One of my most favorite environments to be with is that of people. People who are curious, questioning, and wondering about personal or professional aspects of their lives. Because of the stillness that I am connected to within me, I am able to access information that is very beneficial to the asking recipient.
You too have this ability to go inside, and be with the part of your inner being that is able to receive information intuitively. This is the part of you that guides your life on all levels for your highest good. You are here for a reason, and you came with a guidance system!
Listening to the stillness within, calms the body and mind. A very simple practice is just taking 5 minutes every morning, noon, and night to put your focused attention on your breath, with the intention to connect to the deepest, ever-present presence of you.
Every thing becomes clearer, less fuzzy and cloudy when you directly connect to the stillness within you, which never wavers in calmness. There is a relaxed alertness in this. This is the place where you hear the birds chirping in the distance, and you can smell the bread baking in a local bakery, and feel the subtle shifts of energy in the room as a cool breeze kisses your face.
Stillness can change your life in so many positive ways, moving you in directions meant for you, that you otherwise may have missed. A quiet mind allows a clarity that will move you through life with confidence on all levels. The empowerment of you that comes with a connection to your core, naturally upgrades the quality of your living this beautiful life.
Be still inside so others can calm down around you. What you are seeking is seeking you and can be met in the stillness.
Your calm presence everyone enjoys!
